The winner of the jubilee - the 90th - a beauty contest "Miss America", held in Las Vegas (United States, Nevada) was a 17-year-old Teresa Scanlan of Nebraska.It is recognized as the most charming, talented and resourceful of the 53 contestants representing 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands (U.S.).
